Chicago Ice Works, Inc. guarantees prompt delivery, personalized service and superior products you can depend on. Our fleet of radio-dispatched trucks insures prompt delivery and setup.

We cover the greater Chicago Metropolitan Area. Our 2-man crew will setup your display at your specified time and location, or we can deliver your carving to be stored in your freezer. Once the sculpture is in place, it will last at room temperature (70 degrees) for eight to ten hours!

Story

Owner Jim Bringas is well known as the "Ice Man" to over 500 major hotels, country clubs and banquet halls. His nickname comes not only from his talent with ice, but his high tolerance for working in cold temperatures inside the freezer.

"I think the biggest challenge is not dealing with the cold, but making sure I carve every single detail into every single sculpture -before I freeze."

Jim has been ice carving for more than fifteen years. Prior to joining Chicago Ice Works, Inc., he was employed by Hyatt Hotels as Executive Sous Chef. "My years at Hyatt have contributed to my understanding of your special needs and designs for quality ice displays."

Co-owner, Lisett, brings over fifteen years of event planning to Chicago Ice Works, Inc. Most recently she was the Director of Catering and Banquets for the Rosewood Restaurant in Rosemont. Previous to that she was also employed by Hyatt, working in several customer contact areas. Her valuable knowledge of our industry will enable her to assist your particular needs.
